LEPHALALE LOCAL MUNICIPALITY
Lephalale is one of the fastest growing town in Limpopo due to the presence of natural coal reserves, huge industrial expansion projects initiated by mainly coal mining processing and electricity generation. Dynamic persons who wish to take the leading role in the development and exposure of the Lephalale Municipality are hereby invited to apply for the challenging positions of:
1. POSITION: Manager Internal Auditor: L2-1
(Municipal Manager's Office: Internal Audit Division)
Commencing salary: R453 144- R477 816- R529 344 per annum plus monthly travelling allowance of 950 km
Requirements: National Diploma in Internal Auditing or relevant equivalent qualification. Registration with the Institute of Auditors as a certified Internal Auditor (CIA) will be an added advantage. The incumbent will be expected to have sound knowledge of computer packages (Ms Word, Excel, Power Point etc). Good interpersonal relations, presentation, communication and organizational skills. Five (5) years' experience in internal Auditing working environment of which three (3) years must be in supervisory level within internal audit management environment.
Code B Driver's license.

KPA's Inter alia: Manage and guide audit staff. Manage the monitoring and investigative Audit procedures and any decision or action necessary to facilitate such process guided by policy or guidelines issued by Audit Committee.
Coordinating specific processes to support formulation of rolling 3-year strategic Audit Plan, Provide secretarial function to Audit Committee.
Monitoring compliance and conducting investigations to determine extent of variation or non- conformance to statutory requirements, policies and procedures. Advise unit managers on designing and implementing cost effective control systems. Audit standards and expectations of Audit Committee and management. Ensure a consistent and valid method is used in determination process and findings are professionally formulated to facilitate interpretation.
