Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) is a Water Board established in terms of Water Services Act No 108 of 1997 as a bulk water supply and related water services provider, operating several water purification works and wastewater treatment schemes in the Limpopo Province.

Minimum Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering coupled with a minimum of 5 years’ experience either in bulk water supply, industry or municipal environment of which 3 years’ experience must be at supervisory level. A valid driver’s license and Professional Registration with ECSA is mandatory. Postgraduate diploma or Masters degree in Engineering Management will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for:  Developing long term infrastructure replacement or refurbishment plans and designs  Develops infrastructural plans for the refurbishment or extension of existing or new infrastructure  Links LNW’s infrastructural plans to that of DWS and WSA projects when macro planning and scheme expansions are planned  Conduct bulk water infrastructure planning and design through detail engineering analysis (e.g. feasibility studies, water resources modelling, hydraulic modelling, FEA) and techno-economic analysis  Undertakes project viability studies using NPV and IRR as well as Capital budgeting and ranking of projects using profitability index analysis  Demonstrate proficiency in the use of software packages relevant to the Engineering discipline  Performing optimum equipment life analysis of assets  Accurately mark-up designs for droughting personnel and examine, prepare and verify technical drawings (PFDs, P&IDs, as-builts) and specifications of civil, electrical and mechanical systems to ensure that design, installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements  Co-ordinate and process inputs from wide range of disciplines and comparative analysis  Report on investigations of possible water services developments and/or the development of strategies to reconcile water supply and demand  Liaise with DWS Regional Office on master planning for Limpopo water services development linked water services planning  Assist in providing professional guidance to teams of professional service providers in the water services sector  Compile terms of reference for planning studies  Management and administration of professional service providers, including financial administration  Close interaction with provincial and central government departments; other development agencies; local authorities and the public  Responsible for budgeting of all expenditure of the planning function as well as control expenditure  Ensure compliance with all LNW’s policies and procedures requirements, code of ethics and confidentiality.

Minimum Job Requirements: National Diploma or Degree in SCM/ Logistics/ Finance/ Public Admin coupled with at least 2 years working experience Secretary in the supply chain environment. A valid driver’s license is a prerequisite. Registration with relevant professional body will be advantageous.

Minimum Job Requirements: National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems, or a related field coupled with at least 2 years working experience in an ICT helpdesk, first line support, workstation support, or service desk role. Be exposed to ITIL-based service desk environments and tools (e.g. Spiceworks, Fresh service, ManageEngine) Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and endpoint protection systems. Key Responsibilities:  Reporting to the ICT Network & Security Engineer, the incumbent will be responsible for:  Serving as the first point of contact for ICT support queries (hardware, software, printers, and applications)  Log, categorize, and resolve tickets using the ICT Service Desk platform  Escalate complex issues to second-line support or relevant ICT specialists  Assist users with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)  Troubleshoot login, access, and configuration issues  Support remote and hybrid users with VPN and collaboration tools  Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices  Coordinate repairs and replacements with vendors or internal technicians  Assist with hardware rollouts and software deployments  Create, disable, and manage user accounts and group memberships in Active Directory and Microsoft 365  Reset passwords and manage multi-factor authentication (MFA) queries  Enforce ICT security protocols related to end-user access  Maintain up-to-date support documentation, FAQs, and user guides  Provide weekly/monthly reports on ticket volumes, resolution times, and trends  Provide basic user training and awareness on ICT best practices, cybersecurity, and new tools  Support ICT team in rolling out ICT awareness campaigns or updates  Ensures compliance with all LNW’s policies and procedures requirements, code of ethics and confidentiality.

MINIMUM SALARY: R395 900.78 per annum in the C-Lower Paterson Broadband plus medical aid, housing subsidy/allowance and pension/provident funds benefits 
 
Minimum Job Requirements: National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Electronics) or Mechanical Engineering (Mechatronics) specializing in instrumentation with a Trade Test from an accredited institution coupled with 2 years’ experience as an Instrument Technician. A valid driver’s license is a pre-requisite. Registration with relevant professional body will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Regional Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for:  Planning, coordinating and implementing instrumentation projects  Manages and maintains instrumentation, communication networks and control systems to ensure maximum systems functionality  Conducts research, makes recommendations on new technology, makes technical modifications on the instruments for operational improvements  Troubleshoots telemetry and process control hardware, maintains a functional knowledge of the operation of the telemetry system software and hardware  Manages equipment within the process control domain according to the prescribed key performance indicators  Tests, calibrates, repairs, installs, controls and maintains field instrumentation according to prescribed standards, good understanding of legal and safety frameworks to ensure accurate measurement and recording of information  Reads and interprets wiring diagrams, electrical and mechanical drawings and specifications in installations or in performing repair work  Compiles and manages the capital, the operational and abnormal budgets for instrumentation  Integrates process instrumentation control systems to electrical and mechanical equipment  Implements protective systems to prevent damage to equipment by setting of alarm/trip equipment  Manages systems data concerning process conditions and equipment to assist with planning and management information  Implements and executes the maintenance strategies for instrumentation infrastructure  Supervision of Artisan Assistants, Learners and Interns/Apprentices  Ensure compliance with all LNW’s policies, procedures and code of ethics.
