KWAZULU-NATAL FILM COMMISSION (KZNFC)
KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission (KZNFC) is an entity established in terms of the 2010 KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission Act, No 3 of 2010. The KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission has been established to promote the film industry in the Province.
PRODUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (PERMANENT)
R911 075,00 per annum. (Ref. PND/KZNFC/001)
Reports to: Chief Operations Officer
Job purpose: To ensure that there is a growth in local content in the KZN Province as well as more Film Professional entrants into the industry through the effective management of the KZNFC's funding policy.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Postgraduate (NQF 8) qualification in Film/TV.
• 7 years' experience in the Industry at a senior level in fund management.
• Understanding of the film value chain
• Experience in strategy formulation and implementation.
• Understanding of production process
• Knowledge of production budgets and cost analysis
• Understanding of a script ad story
• Understanding governance processes
