DUTIES : Management of engineering department and ensure that all engineering plants are functioning effectively through preventative maintenance, monitoring and by ensuring compliance with all regulations. Set engineering standards specifications and services levels according to organizational objectives to ensure optimum operational availability. Be available to be designated as the responsible person at a Tertiary Hospital in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993) and regulations if so required. DUTIES : Administer an evidence/results-based monitoring and evaluation system in the institution as well as feeder facilities within the Provincial M&E Framework and monitor research activities in the institution. Implement the M&E framework at facility level and monitor implementation. Plan and co-ordinate the implementation and monitoring of data quality and quality assurance in service delivery. Ensure the development, review and maintenance of institution policies and protocols. Monitor and report on performance of all departments in the facility.
