VACANCY ADVERTISEMENT
The KwaDukuza Municipality seeks to fill the following positions and accordingly invites applications from persons who meet the requirements as indicated. Please note that the post title and post identification number (KZ292.) MUST be indicated on your application which MUST be accompanied by certified copies of your qualifications, identity document and driver’s licence where applicable. Applicants are also advised to ensure that their applications address the selection criteria in terms of qualifications, experience and any other requirements as set out in the relevant advertisement as shortlisting will be based on these selection criteria.

2X REGISTERED NURSES (ADHOC BASIS)
Business Unit COMMUNITY SAFETY
Task Grade T11
Salary R178,81 PER HOUR

Requirements Gr.12 at an NQF level 4, A three year National Diploma in Nursing at an NQF level 6; 3 years relevant working experience; Registered as a Professional Nurse with South African Nursing Council in terms of Nursing Act 33 of 2005 (attach valid proof) and in terms of Criminal Procedure Act.51 of 1977 Section 37. Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel), Candidates with Phlebotomist qualification will be advantageous.
Must be willing to work flexi hours on strategic operations.
 
Duties • Undertake to draw blood samples from drunken drivers; fill in necessary documentation for the extraction of blood samples and must be available to attend court to give evidence in cases where blood samples were drawn.
• Ensure that we comply with all legal procedures when extracting blood samples, take into account Health & Safety issues when extracting samples from accused with due regards towards self and others.
• Must be available at all times when called for duty.
 
N.B Please note that this post is on ad-hoc basis meaning the appointed individuals will report on duty when called to do so and will work on a specific project/task as assigned by the supervisor.
