​As part of building human capital and growing its own skills base, the Knysna Municipality in partnership with Chemical Industries Education and Training Authority (CHIETA), is offering an opportunity to unemployed youth who wish to participate in a Three year Electrical Apprenticeship Programme ( 2025 -2027)
 
ELECTRICAL APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME X 21
 
Applications are invited from unemployed youth to Apply for the apprenticeship Training Programme in the following Occupational Certificate/Trade: 
  • Occupational Certificate: Electrician x 21 
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 
  • NQF Level 1 - 4 (Grade 9 - 12 with Maths and Science) 
 
CRITERIA
Applicants must be permanent residents within the area of Knysna Municipality and must be a South African citizen. 
Applicants must be between 18-35 years. 
Successful candidates will receive formal training and on-the-job training from an Accredited Service Provider that will be partnering with Knysna Municipality. 
Applicants from previously disadvantaged groups will be given preference.
