KING SABATHA DALINDYEBO LOCAL MUNICIPALITY
STAFF VACANCY — LOCAL CANDIDATES
Applications are hereby invited from Local (Mthatha and Mqanduli) candidates who consider themselves suitably qualified for appointment to the following positions: -
Department Technical Services
General workers (EPWP) x 100
Salary: EPWP RateR150.00 per day (one/1 year contract)
REQUIREMENTS
• Applicant must be in sound mental and physical health and be willing and able to engage in strenuous physical activities.
• Must be from 18 to 35 years of age due to strenuous physical activities that they will be performing.
• Must be able to dig using picks and spades.
• Must be able to enter and work inside 600mm stormwater pipe.
• Must be able to climb ladder and work in heights.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful applicant will be required to:-
• Execute various functions within the departmental sections; and
• Any other lawful duty assigned by the supervisor.
The Council reserves the right to appoint or not to appoint any candidate if in its view no suitable candidate could be found.
Canvassing for appointment to the positions and corroborating proof thereof will result in disqualification of a candidate.
