Duties: Oversee administration of the student support services unit. Develop the annual Student Support Services (SSS) operational plan, assigning relevant tasks to the staff and ensuring progress against the approved annual targets. Develop and review relevant SSS policies, processes, procedures and job profiles. Ensure and maintain the compilation of learner progress reports, statement, results and student enquires. Manage student counselling across the college, Manage the implementation of counselling, guidance policy, procedure and best practice. Coordinate and monitor the provision of counselling services the college. Design life skills programme as a proactive measure for counselling. Manage counselling services conducted by SSS to ensure that service is conducted at required standard and comply with code of Ethics. Provide student with career guidance, counselling and academic support. Develop and monitor implementation of relevant career guidance plans for prospective students and enrolled students towards academic achievement. Liaise with the Vocational Programme Manager and relevant stakeholders in ensuring a well-developed system in providing the adequate and control, direct and motive career guidance at the central office and campus level. Oversee and maintain the sport, recreation, arts and culture activities for student. Coordinate the implementation of sports and recreation programs. Facilitate student governance and student leadership development. Coordinate and monitor annual SRC election processes.
Coordinate training and mentoring on SRC roles, duties, protocols and practices.

Duties: Maintain Sound Labour Relations, Render advice on Labour related matters. Develop and implement Human Resource policies and manuals. Ensure proper implementation of disciplinary procedures, grievance procedures and code of conduct. Conduct investigation and disciplinary hearings. Management of Strike action, Minimize labour dispute. Facilitate and conduct labour relations training and workshop, Ensure proper implementation of the collective bargaining council resolutions. Management of all Human, Financial and other resources of the unit. Investigate misconduct cases and compile investigation report. Management of discipline, represent the Department during formal disciplinary hearing, provide advise on informal hearings and ensure the implementation of disciplinary sanctions. Investigate and finalize all grievances and complaints received from employees in the Department / Colleges. Co-ordinate and provide support in terms of representing the Department/ Colleges in all disputes referred to the Public Service Sectoral Bargaining Council /Education Labour Relations Council and the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration. Manage information and records of all activities in the Labour Relations in the college. Manage resources of the section. Monitor precautionary suspensions in the college. Requirements: Recognized National Diploma (NQF 6) in Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management or related qualification.
3-5 years' experience in Supply Chain Management (tender and logistics Management)
Knowledge, skills and values: Knowledge of the PFMA, PPPFA, Treasury Regulations, Supply Chain Framework Act and BBEE Act.
Understanding of the Supply Chain Management cycle which includes demand, acquisition, logistics, and disposal and supplier relationship management.

Duties: Develop, review, implement and monitor SCM policies in line with relevant legislation.
Ensure the implementation and monitoring of Supply Chain policy.
Introduce a system for provisioning, procurement, stock control and reporting.

Oversee the procurement of good and services for the college:
Ensure that all procurement is in compliance with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) policies and procedures of the college.

Align procurement plan, policies and strategies with the annual budget
Manage the revision on summary of quotations, specifications and all documents supplied by the suppliers in order to comply with prescribed requirements.
Ensure that purchase orders are generated, approved and processed.
Ensure that the receipt of goods and services are submitted to finance department for processing.
Oversee the development, maintenance and utilization of the central supplier database.
Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation on all solicitations, responses, purchases, contracts, correspondence and related follow up.

Manage preparation of a tender document upon receipt from tender bid specification committee

Requirements: Matric with a three (3) years tertiary qualification (NQF 6) in Human Resource Management/Public Administration/Management, Industrial Psychology. 3-5 years' experience in Human Resource Management /Administration. Must be in position of a valid driver's license. Public sector experience. Knowledge and understanding of legislative framework governing in the public service Act of 1994 (Act 103 of 1994) and other human resource prescripts, regulations, procedures and understanding skills and communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to interprets human resource prescripts and apply them. Understanding and utilisation of the PERSAL system. Good interpersonal and organizational skills. Requirements: Applicants must be in possession of Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent. Relevant undergraduate qualification (Diploma/Degree) in Human Resource Management/ Public Administration; coupled with 3 years' relevant experience. Skills Development Facilitator will be an added advantage. Good interpersonal skills and communication (both written and verbal). The ability to work under pressure. Computer literacy. Knowledge of Skills Development legislation and Principles of Adult Learning is critical as well as knowledge of Treasury Regulations, Public Service legislation and Human Resource Frameworks and Policies. The successful candidate will be expected to be Customer service orientated.
