REGIONAL MANAGER – REF:RM- JW350/2021
REMUNERATION: R1 297 704 TOTAL COST TO COMPANY
 
PURPOSE
To ensure the alignment of mission and the vision of JW in the provision of water and sanitation services to the customer in the respective operational region.
 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in the development of overall strategy for the division in the context of the policy framework set by Johannesburg Water. Initiate and coordinate the formulation of policy for development of service delivery in the respective regions. Ensure that appropriate auditing; monitoring and control is carried out in all areas of functional responsibility (e.g. standards, policies, procedures, financial controls, stock controls, plan and vehicle control, etc.). Plan, propose and implement pro-active measure and responses to public needs and requests to improve service delivery. Liaise with all customers as and when required within the region. Responsible for the sound financial management of the region. Ensure proper financial control and adherence to procurement policy and stores control. Responsible for sound Human Resources Management for the region. Ensure compliance with the OHS Act and JW policies and procedures.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential qualifications and experience:
• BSc or B. Tech degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (NQF 7), with an accredited management qualification NQF 5
• 7 years’ experience in water & sanitation operations of which 5 years must be at a managerial level
• Valid code EB driver’s license
