JOHANNESBURG WATER - PUBLIC EDUCATION FACILITATOR

 
PURPOSE
To facilitate all education programs with internal and external stakeholders.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement education programs for water conservation for primary and secondary schools in a form of edutainment, on-going. Engage with the learners and educators in a fun and entertaining format, daily. Facilitate high school tours to purification plants and treatment works, weekly. Assist the manager to develop and implement a comprehensive community outreach programme with the intention to achieve greater understanding and co-operation between Johannesburg Water and the communities it services. Assist in developing and implementing of a sustainable stakeholder relations and awareness strategy aimed at behavioural change of the consumers. Assist the Stakeholder Relations Manager in producing a calendar for the company outlining various educational and intervention activities. Liaise and form a partnership with other role players in the public education field, to create outreach programmes.
