JOHANNESBURG WATER - MESSENGER DRIVER

 
PURPOSE
Provide the messenger service in Johannesburg Water Depots and External Organisations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan the collection and delivery routes of postage and documents on a daily basis. Deliver all documents to various depots of JW and external organizations daily. Ensure that the delivery book is safe and updated. Transport JW employees to various destinations as needed. Assist in the stores when needed. Maintain JW vehicle in good working order by weekly submission of daily sheets to the Admin officer. Complete the vehicle logbook daily. Verify, submit checklists, petrol slips and defects to the transport officer. Arrange bookings and drop offs of vehicles due for service and/or repairs with the transport office. Complete all necessary forms and maintain spread sheets related to vehicles weekly. Adhere to JW vehicle policies.
