REMUNERATION: R193 656 BASIC SALARY PER ANNUM

PURPOSE
To maintain the building, instrumentation and equipment for the Laboratory.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Undertake general maintenance, painting, glazing, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work and welding. Where possible undertake repair, especially of an electrical nature for offices, kitchen and Laboratory equipment. Outsource some repair work where possible. Operate gas welding and arc welding tools to do repair. Operate electrical tools to do repair.
 

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential qualifications and experience:
• Grade 12 (NQF 4)
• 2 years’ experience in basic general maintenance
