REMUNERATION: R386 184 BASIC SALARY PER ANNUM
 
PURPOSE
Execution of the on-going maintenance of the Insurance Portfolio, including the orderly maintenance of the Insurance Claims Register
 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Place insurance cover for all as per Insurance Portfolio and notify Manager-Risk. Execute accounting for Insurance Claims within the provisions of the policy. Propose and action corrective measures where applicable. Operate the manual register of Insurance claims. Ensure that Insurance clearing account is cleared monthly with all monies received from the brokers. Ensure that all projects under R50 million approved through the tender. Ensure that all the Company’s assets are properly protected and take out the necessary insurance. Ensure that reconciliation is performed on all activity as relates to insurance. Prepare regularized reports in accordance with work deliverables for onward inspection by management. Prepare reports in accordance with satisfying various audit obligations. Ensure that all audit queries are successfully attended to by meticulously planning and executing work deliverables to the highest standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential qualifications and experience:
·         Qualification in Risk Finance and Insurance (NQF Level 5)
·         2 years claims processing experience
·         Sound knowledge of Insurance
·         Must have 3 years’ experience in long and short term Insurance
·         Experience working with Excel, Word and Outlook
·         Driver’s License
