EXECUTIVE MANAGER: CORPORATE SERVICES (REF: HRM03)
FIVE YEAR FIXED TERM POSITION
SALARY PACKAGE: R1 538 205 PA (TOTAL COST TO COMPANY)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and direct the strategic functioning of the Human Resources, Administration, Registry, Marketing, Communications and Legal Services. Provide strategic leadership; ensure strict compliance with the standards, disciplines and procedures of the company, formulating policy, developing operational procedures and implementing new strategies and processes. Develop and implement strategic plans and departmental objectives to ensure line function support. Develop and manage the departmental budget. Manage business plan activities. Contribute to the development of the company’s annual report. Manage the company’s compliance to labour and related legislation and manage the company’s legal compliance, direct Employee Relations, Payroll and workforce climate. Demonstrate extensive understanding of the Corporate Service systems; including Human Resources, Legal Services, Document Management and Registry systems, Communications and Marketing. Responsible for: driving all Transformation and Organisational development initiatives. Conduct and manage all key JM projects and external communications. Demonstrable ability and motivation; to take a leadership role in the implementation, and management of Corporate Support Services, within the Joburg Market.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: A Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration / Management Sciences / Law; or equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification; plus 7 years’ experience 3 of which must be at senior management level within corporate services.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Good knowledge and understanding of relevant policy and legislation; Good knowledge and understanding of institutional governance systems and performance management; Good knowledge of corporate support services: Human Capital; Legal Services; and Facilities Management; Understanding of Good Governance and Corporate Ethics processes Extensive understanding of Labour Relations Act, and other labour-related prescripts; Legal background and human capital management; and Knowledge of coordination and oversight of all specialised support functions.
