 ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK
(R12453. 29–R16811.14) Basic Salary excluding benefits
 
JOB PURPOSE 
Assists with maintaining all debtors’ accounts, including guarantee debtors. Assists with managing overdue accounts to reduce the company’s risk and minimizes losses.  Afford credit facilities to desired customers.  Assists with managing and maintaining security deposits for rental debtors.
 
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out manual meter readings for utilities within the Joburg Market precinct
Capturing and computation of meter readings
Billing of rental tenants
Printing and delivering of Invoices, statements and other written communication
Collection of amounts due from debtors
File documents and maintain files in a prescribed manner
Attending customers queries in time
Reviewing of Debtors Age Analysis on an ongoing basis
Assisting with providing source documents at request of management, internal or external auditors
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
 
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE 
Grade 12/ NQF 5 / Equivalent
Tertiary qualification in Accounting / Finance 
3 years relevant experience in an accounts environment
Microsoft suite skill (Excel, word, outlook) at advanced level
