Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Process sales accurately and quickly on the Webtickets ticketing system. ● Ensure the filing of daily reconciliation is processed accurately. ● Deliver excellent customer service. ● Send out daily attendance figures to relevant staff. ● Make accurate bookings over the phone and for walk in customers. ● Answer general queries or direct patrons to the relevant staff.
 
Appointment Requirements:
 Grade 9
 1-3 months’ relevant experience (3 years ticketing experience preferably on Webtickets system will be an added advantage).
 Computer literacy.

Salary: R 18 481.12 per month (basic salary excluding benefits)
 
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Ensure that all staff are present on shift and conduct all briefings. ● Maintain a good moral with all employees. ● Monitor and ensure all duties are completed daily and as per shift requirements. ● Conduct daily stock controls on all beverage items. ● conduct cash-ups and report any discrepancies. ● Conduct spot cash-ups. ● Ensure that all promotions and specials are marketed through all front of house staff. ● Conduct spot checks randomly on stocks. ● Ensure that assets are properly maintained and any maintenance issues are reported immediately to superior. ● Manage the back of house operations to ensure the constant maintenance of health and hygiene standards. ● Respond to any customer complaints and provide feedback immediately to their supervisor. ● Maintain all standards within the H&C departments of JCT ● Monitor all irregularities pertaining to quality, service, and presentation of all food & beverage menu items. ● Maintain a high level of food & beverage quality through monthly audits of the kitchen & bar operations. ● Review constantly the product range to ensure that all key quality standards are maintained. ● Supervise all planning and implementation of outdoor events. ● Monitor health, safety and security structures for the Unit. ● Monitor and coordinate policies, procedures and standards in the area of health and safety. ● Attend the health and safety committee meeting and report on resolutions passed. ● Review all new work being proposed by the contractors and provide oversight to eliminate or minimize potential hazards. ● Coordinate external inspection and accompany a health and safety inspector during an inspection of the building and answer any questions the inspector may ask. ● Complete; maintain and report incident/injury information.
 
Appointment Requirements:
 Grade 12 (NQF 4)
 National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Hospitality Management or equivalent will be an added advantage.
 1-3 years’ work experience of which 1 year is within a supervisory level preferably within the hospitality environment.

Collect and deliver food & beverage stock items on daily basis ● Daily collection and deliveries of, and operating equipment between the Joburg Theatre warehouse and all the relevant theatres, including the Joburg Zoo ●Transport staff between venues and events ● Photocopy as and when required ● Bind documents ● Collect mail and distribute thereof ● Support the Governance offices ● Maintain, safe keep, inspect and clean the company vehicles ● Keep file, diary and travel logbook of daily activities ● Assist with the identification of areas to display posters and flyers.
 
Appointment Requirements:
 Grade 10
 3-6 months driving work experience, preferable in public sector
 Code EB (14) valid driver’s license
 Valid Public Permit Driver (PDP)

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY:

Successful candidates will be appointed on a 12 months internship contract. An all-inclusive monthly stipend of R5 475.00 will be paid.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Schedule meetings between suppliers and the Supply Chain Manager as well as with the H.O.D’s ● Assist in counting stock in the store room (stock taking). And manage storeroom in the absence of the Inventory Controller ● Compiling weekly SCM report for EXCO and MANCO ● Assist to coordinate the quotations for official travel arrangements for JCT officials and external stakeholders.● Taking minutes in monthly meeting in the Finance department ● Performs administrative tasks inclusive of record keeping (archiving), drafting of correspondence to service providers and stakeholders ● Assist in loading suppliers on the database and updating the supplier database and ensuring that all documentations from suppliers are updated.● Assist with special and ad-hoc projects from external stakeholders ● Administers tenders and RFQ’s contracts and monitor the records ● Drafts RFQ’s to be posted on the Joburg City Theatre website.● Compilation and preparation of received quotations for evaluation and approval in terms of the PPPFA ● Act as a secretariat during the Bid Committee Meetings ● Implementation of the PPPFA Act, MFMA act, Supply Chain Management Policy as well as general understanding of BBBEE Act requirements in line with procurement compliance ● Register stock and create new requisitions on the Pastel Evolution System (Electronic Stock Control System) as well as goods receive functions.● Update the Contract report and keep the register up to date ● Creating purchase orders for the suppliers on the Pastel Evolution System (Electronic Stock Control System) ● Administer and support to the fleet department. ●Assist with special- and ad-hoc projects by external stakeholder’s ● Compliance: Prepare paperwork for payment ● Assist the fleet department administratively.
