An exceptional opportunity awaits a dynamic individual with the right qualifications and experience to assume the position of Human Resources Development Manager.
Reporting to the Divisional Manager: Group Human Resources, the successful candidate will be expected to:
Formulate and implement Human Resources Development Strategy, Policies, Procedures, Processes and Operational Plans.
Compile and implement Workplace Skills Plan and other related reports in line with the Skills Development and Levies Act.
Design and develop human resource development tools and instruments for use in the process of identifying talent.
Develop and implement Performance, Talent and Learning and Development Management frameworks.
Collaborate with business in developing sustainable human capital pipeline.
Facilitate the development and implementation of succession plans.
Design, develop and manage implementation of on-boarding processes.
Ensure the resolution of audit queries and risks (strategic and operational) identified to ensure clean audit at all times.
Forge and maintain partnerships with external human resources development related bodies/ institutions in order to advance Human Resource Development Strategy of Ithala Development Finance Corporation.
Manage financial and human resources.
Compile, monitor and manage the approved Human Resources Development Budget.
Develop and implement the Individual Development Plans where necessary for the HRD team.
Drive change management initiatives relating to the launch of Talent, Learning and Performance Solutions.
Develop and monitor adherence to Human Resource Development’s Service Level Agreements and address shortcomings as applicable.
The following minimum requirements must be met in order to be considered for this position:
Post Graduate Degree /Honours in Human Resources / Human Resource Development and Behavioural Sciences.
Registration with South African Board for People Practice (SABPP) at Chartered level.
Registration as an Industrial Psychologist/Psychometrics will be advantageous.
Registration as Skills Development Facilitator, Assessor and Moderator will be advantageous.
Minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years senior management experience in human resource development management in a corporate and or manufacturing environment.
Advanced MS Office suite and MS Project.
Well - developed change and project management skills.
Innovative and decisive.
Ability to work independently.
Good report writing skills.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
