Reporting to the Executive: Group Corporate Support Services, the Divisional Manager: Security & Logistics will manage the provision of efficient and effective operation of Security & Logistics services to IDFC
The Divisional Manager Security & Logistics will:
• Manage the implementation of the division’s strategic and operational plans, policies and procedures.
• Provide input into development of the sub-unit’s operational strategic plan and implementation thereof.
• Monitor, report accurately and timeously on implementation on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Participate and advise on Policy development and implementation
• Manage implementation of service delivery programmes and business system enhancement.
• Manage security services for all IDFC properties.
• Ensure adherence to safety and security standards.
• Research and evaluate new security technologies and develop security network.
• Report and advise management on safety and security related issues.
• Manage logistics related services.
• Manage stakeholder/supplier relationship, ensuring that Service Level Agreements are in place with approved service providers.
• Provide input and manage division’s annual budget, implement controls in order to ensure adherence to budget.
• Manage Human Capital.
The following minimum requirements must be met to be considered for this position:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• A relevant Post Graduate Qualification will be advantageous.
• Certification in any of the following: Certified Protection Professional (CPP) / Physical Security Professional (PSP) / Certified fraud Examiner (CFE) / Certificate in Corporate Security & Risk Management is highly advantageous.
• Five (5) – seven (7) years’ management experience with Security, Risk Management / Project Management experience.
Requisite Functional Competencies:
• Computer literacy (MS Office).
• Knowledge and experience in financial planning and forecasting.
• Knowledge and understanding of Public Finance Management Act.
• Knowledge of Corporate Governance Principles.
• Knowledge of enterprise risk management concepts, frameworks and methodology.
• Knowledge of criminal Procedures Act and Firearms Control.
• Knowledge of Promotions to Access Information act.
