INKOMATI-USUTHU CATCHMENT MANAGEMENT AGENCY (IUCMA)
 
Inkomati-Usuthu Catchment Management Agency (IUCMA) is a water resources management institution established in terms of the National Water Act, 1998 to perform sustainable and equitable integrated water resource management within the Inkomati-Usuthu Water Management Area (WMA) in Mpumalanga.

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (NELSPRUIT, HEAD OFFICE) 
Remuneration Package within salary band C4 (Ref no 04/25/26) 
 
Requirements: The candidate must possess a recognized Three (3) year National diploma or degree in Information Technology. MCSE certificated will be an added advantage. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the related field. A valid drivers’ license. Willingness to travel and work after hours when necessary. 
 
Knowledge, skills and competencies required: Active Directory 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019Firewall (Sophos, or , Cyberoam), HP Switching, Exchange Online, Antivirus, Microsoft Office, ITIL, Networking (Internet, Cabling, Wireless), Network security, Active Directory Engineer, Switching and Routing, Azure, Infrastructure, Backup Exec, McAfee, Office 365, Sophos, Firewall, Pen Testing, Report writing, Approachable, Attention to detail, Deadline driven, follow through, Proactive, Results driven, Team player. 
 
Key performance areas: installation and maintenance of Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Exchange, IIS, SQL, Windows 10, and Office applications. Ensure optimal operation, proper configuration, and backup of Windows servers and Microsoft applications. Perform ongoing monitoring and maintenance of all servers, addressing technical issues for end-users, including applications, client computers, and servers. Maintain server security, integrity, and regular hardware/software upgrades, including OS and application patching. Manage server solutions in both physical and virtual environments while operating and maintaining cybersecurity products such as anti-virus suites and Policy Auditor. Handle Active Directory maintenance, DNS changes, server permissions, log management, and email administration. Establish and secure network connections and firewalls through access control, monitoring, and evaluation. Oversee data backup, storage, and recovery processes, ensuring compliance with IT policies and standards. Compile monthly progress reports and assist in developing ICT demand plans. Ensure all ICT implementations and upgrades adhere to internal change management procedures.
