INDEPENDENT DEVELOPMENT TRUST (IDT)
 
The IDT is a Schedule 2 Public Entity, established as a development management agency. Its primary role is to influence, support and add value to the national agenda. The IDT is mandated to measurably impact on the eradication of poverty and to improve the quality of life of poor, rural and marginalised communities. To assist us in achieving this, we wish to appoint dynamic individuals in the following positions:

POST :  ICT MANAGER: BUSINESS SOLUTIONS 
JOB LEVEL : DL 
REGION : NATIONAL OFFICE 
LOCATION : PRETORIA 
DURATION : PERMANENT 
PORTFOLIO : INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY 
 
PURPOSE : To lead, plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to ICT business solutions, including the design, development, and implementation of different organizational information systems and software applications to improve the efficiency of the organisation. 
 
REPORTING : Chief Information Officer 
 
REQUIREMENTS : Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or similar, Minimum 4-6 years experience of which 3 should have been in Management. 
 Competencies: Conceptualizing of business or technical solution, Systems Development, Project Management, Knowledge of operating systems, Knowledge of Enterprise resource management systems, Knowledge of business intelligence tools and General Management knowledge. 
Skills: Leadership Skills, Planning & Organising, Persuasiveness, Specialist, Knowledge, Problem Solving & Analysis, Innovation, Strategic Orientation, Interpersonal Sensitivity and Personal Motivation. 
 
DUTIES : Designs innovative information systems and procedures to support the organisations operations, Develop and maintain business solutions, Design and oversee a strong systems governance environment, Management of stakeholders.
