PURPOSE : To plan and manage implementation of multi-sectoral social development projects within the region.
REPORTING : Programme Manager: Social Development
REQUIREMENTS : Minimum of a Bachelors’ degree in Social Sciences i.e. Development Studies, Development Planning, Community Development, Development Economics, Rural/Regional and Urban Planning, Social Impact Assessment, Agriculture, Sustainable Development and a formal qualification in Programme/Project Management. A formal qualification in Project Management will be an added advantage. Where in possession of a Bachelors’ degree in Social Sciences, a minimum of 10 years working experience in Community/Social and Institutional Development environment. Where in possession of a Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences, a minimum of 6 years working experience in Community/Social and Institutional Development environment. Where in possession of a Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences working experience in Community/Social and institutional Development environment. Where in possession of Postgraduate degree in Social Science, professional registration with the Project Management South Africa (PMSA) or an equivalent Project Management Body such as Project Management Institute, International Institute of Project Management, etc., and a minimum of 3 years working experience in Community/Social and Institutional Development environment.
