SALARY: Total Annual Package (CTC) – R 278,060.00 - R327,129.00
LOCATION : ICASA (Head Office – Eco Park, Centurion)
POSITION STATUS: Permanent
 
Purpose of the job                                                                                                               
To perform all fixed assets management activities in line with the Authority’s Assets Management Policy for adherence to the National Treasury Regulations requirements.
 
Key Outputs: The successful candidate will report to the Supervisor: Asset Management and the responsibilities will include: ● Updating of Microsoft assets database with all movements (locations and users)● Liaising with divisions regarding new acquisitions and movement of existing assets weekly ● Compiling disposal schedules for assets which have been identified to be presented to the Disposal Committee for Disposal ● Reporting weekly to the Supervisor: Asset Management on activities listed on the Asset plan ● Performing Bi-annual & Annual assets verifications ● Journal processing ● Assisting the Supervisor: Asset Management in resolving queries raised by the Auditor General of South Africa (AGSA) and Internal Audit ● Updating insurance-related items in the Insurance Base as soon as they are reported stolen or missing and stopping depreciation in JDE.  
 
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required: ● Higher Certificate in Accounting or equivalent, (NQF Level 5) ● Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Assets management ● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
