VACANCY
 
The Hessequa Municipality requires the services of a suitable person in the following vacancy:
 
MANAGER: EXPENDITURE - RIVERSDALE
(Ref: F003) T16 — R510 962.16 to R663 271.68 gross salary per annum
Travelling and Cell phone allowances are additional advantages.
 
 
Requirements: B. Corn or equivalent degree (NQF7) in Financial Management • Code B driver’s license • Able to communicate in two of the official languages of the Western Cape • Good interpersonal and communication skills • Compliance with the relevant Minimum Competency levels for financial officials or obtain the qualification within 18 months • Five years’ experience in a similar position.
 
Duties: Develop and implement expenditure policies and procedures • Manage and control the Expenditure Department including: • Sound and accountable cash flow management • Costing services • Maintain Grant registers and prepare statistical reports for Management, National and Provincial Treasury • Scrutinise and authorise expenditure transactions and salary runs • Provide advice and guidance on budget, reporting and expenditure processes • Manage and control the personnel in the Expenditure Department.
