Town Planning and Development Department
Position: Business Licencing Officer
Remuneration: R180 000.00 P.A Plus Normal Municipal Benefits
 
 
Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 12
• National Diploma in Public Management/Business Management or any other relevant qualification.
• Computer literacy
• Minimum 03 years relevant experience.
• Valid drivers 'licence.
• Be fluent in both IsiZulu and English.
 
Key Performance Areas:
The successful candidate will perform the following duties:
• Refers non-Compliant Businesses to Peace Officer/Enforcement Officers for appropriate action.
• Compile Reports for License applications both in process and issued
• Participate in the District Compliance Forums.
• Advise Management on business regulation and tariff structure for licenses.
• Ensure that events that happen in the local area obtain special events permits.
• Processes the granting of permits to transport operators within the Municipality
• Conduct trainings and awareness campaigns to both formal and informal businesses.
