Remuneration package: R528, 944 per annum (Cost to Council)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 
 A Bachelor’s degree/ Advanced Diploma or National Diploma in HR / HRD. 
 3 years working experience in HRD and/ or training & development environment and performance management. 
 
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS 
 Strong knowledge of Relevant Legislations (BCEA; EEA; SDA; LRA;), etc. 
 Knowledge of Workplace Skills Plan. 
 Knowledge of Best Practices (employer of choice) and leading practices in Learning and Development. 
 Understanding of Training & Development processes. 
 Facilitation skills 
 Research skills 
 Computer Literacy (MS Office, and Outlook). 
 
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES & KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS 
 Sourcing of quality training vendors and ensure value for money service offering. 
 Ensure that training interventions is are aligned to skills gaps identified, if required, is SAQA or SETA Accredited. 
 Record organisation’s performance and delivery in terms of Workplace Skills Plan to HWSETA. 
 Collate all data required for input into the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) with regards to training. 
 Administration of information pertaining to Workplace Skills Plan and obtaining of approval from Training Committee. 
 Submission of approved WSP to HWSETA. 
 Provide input to the submission of Employment Equity yearly report to Department of Employment and Labour. 
 Perform a Business Partner role to the business by providing on-time learning solutions aligned to critical operational challenges and organisation’s strategic objectives. 
 Training Report on Training done to assess the effectiveness the training providers. 
 Provide monthly training report to focus on all training expenses and performance against skills plan. 
 Obtain performance management agreements for the entire organisation. 
 Train assist, guide Managers/Supervisors with the Poor Performance Management process 
 Facilitate Bursary Scheme process in the organisation. 
 Management of Internship/ Learnership Programme in the organisation. 
 Facilitate ad-hoc training interventions such Financial Life skills and PDP training. 
 Provide expert advice to Management & Staff on performance management related matters such as PDPs, Performance Agreements, etc.
