Head of Division: Human Resources
(Paterson Grade D4)
(5-year fixed-term employment contract)
Remuneration package: R1 296 835 per annum
Minimum requirements:• B degree in HR/Social Science with a postgraduate qualification in HR • 6+ years HR experience of which 3-5 years' management experience at a senior level, 3-5 years' experience in dealing with labour relations matters is a plus.
Competency requirements: • Advanced knowledge of Labour Legislation (BCEA, LRA, Skills Development Act, OHASA, COID) • Business ethics • Capacity management • Change management • Competency assessment tools and test batteries • Compliance processes • Corporate governance • Diversity management • Employee relations • Financial management • HR audit processes • HR business partnering.
Principal accountabilities and key performance areas:• Manage the recruitment and selection process • Compile Human Capital Plans • Manage payroll • Manage the performance management system • Manage transformation • Manage employee relations • Manage remuneration and employee benefits • Manage the employee assistance programme • Risk management • Manage the organisational development and design processes • Manage training, learning and development • HR policy development and research • Address and resolve internal and external audit findings, including developing strategies to prevent such from recurring.

Corporate Services Department
Manager: Facilities Management
(Paterson Grade D2)
(Permanent employment contract)
Remuneration package: R850 468 per annum
Minimum requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Property/Facilities Management • SHE qualification will be an added advantage • At least 6 years' experience managing a large facility or multiple buildings • Solid knowledge of maintenance and building inspection • Experience in implementation of procedures and safety measures • Experience in managing staff.
Competency requirements: • Knowledge of project management principles • Good communication skills • Good administrative skills • Knowledge of relevant legislation • People management skills • Risk management skills • Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel, MS Project & Outlook).
Principal accountabilities and key performance areas: • Develop strategic plan for Division and ensure effective and timeous implementation • Develop and maintain policy • Risk management • Maintain all 3rd party vendor relationships along with the security services and cleaning employees (currently outsourced) • Compile and manage annual budget for building and office operations • Ensure correct procedures are followed with procurement of all stationery and furniture • Manage space planning of the HPCSA, Departments/Divisions to understand current and future requirements • Maintain asset register • Manage safe storage of documents in the storeroom • Manage venue booking system for all Committee and boardrooms • Prepare draft advertisements and specifications of outsourced services required • Provide administrative as well as secretarial functions to the Tender Committee of the HPCSA • Ensure effective marketing of vacant office premises to leasing broker and manage tenant according to contract.
