The HWSETA seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual with a passion for skills development to the above mentioned position. The successful candidate will be required to supervise and coordinate all operational activities of technical staff of the IT department as well as providing support, reporting, and ensuring deadlines and outstanding work has been completed on time and within budget by directing and leading IT project teams. The role encompasses information systems planning, installation, and maintenance, including hardware and software upgrades. Develop, manage, and supervise IT operations by the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures for IT related matters and IT business processes. Identification and implementation of new systems to improve IT service offering. Manage and direct IT consultants and staff.

Minimum requirements: 
3 Year Tertiary IT Qualification in Computer and Information Sciences, Computer Science; Information Science/Studies; Management Information Systems, General  
Examples: MCITP, ND INFORMATION TECHNOLOCGY, COBIT, ITIL, NETWORKING, PROGRAMMING 

 
Minimum Experience:
Minimum 5 years IT related experience in IT Coordination or Project Management

Duties:
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures to ensure optimal IT performance. 
  • Identification and implementation of new systems to improve IT performance. 
  • Provide Business Processes and technical solutions for internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Managing and Coordination of IT staff for effective service delivery.

Cost to Company per annum: Salary Range R448 674- R489 704 Per Annum
