ENGINEERING SERVICES DEPARTMENT
 
MANAGER (Water Services)
(Job Id No 5/2/0/001) 
Salary: R576 927. 36 per annum (Job level 3) 
The job purpose of the Manager is to manage water and sewerage service to the Greater Tzaneen Municipality to the additional standards. 
 
 
Key performance areas: The Manager must ensure that the daily work is done to satisfaction and to achieve the objectives of Council. He/she will be responsible for: * Planning and managing activities of the division * Developing divisional vision and strategy * Managing performance of employees in the division * Planning and managing utilization of resources * Developing and monitoring systems, policies, procedures and processes * Performing human resources and administrative activities * Manage water and sewage infrastructure planning, construction and maintenance activities * Managing contracts for construction and maintenance activities. 
 
Requirements: B Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification 5 years relevant experience – applicable to water and sewage Computer literacy, Communication and Bilingualism, B driver’s license.
