 Interested applicants meeting the requirements should forward the following:

2. Detailed CV, Certified Copies of Qualifications and Identity Document.
3. Applications not submitted with the fully Completed Official Application Form will not be considered.
4. Applications with Foreign Qualifications must be attached with a SAQA verification document.
 All short-listed applicants will be required to produce their original qualifications/documents at the interviews. Failure to comply will result in disqualification.

​DEPARTMENT: OFFICE OF THE EXECUTIVE MAYOR

BODYGUARD TO THE EXECUTIVE MAYOR (FIXED TERM) – 1 Position
REF: 2024-2025/60
 
Requirements:
 Grade 12 or equivalent
 Two (2) to Three (3) years relevant experience
 Valid Code B drivers license
 Advance driving course will be an added advantage
 Protocol and Etiquette Training Course will be an added advantage
 Fire Arms Competency Certificate in terms of the Fire Arms Control Act
 VIP Protection Course will be an added advantage
 Good Communication and interpersonal skills
 Ability to work with minimum supervision
 
 
NB: Recommended candidate will be subjected to criminal vetting
The successful applicant / candidate must possess competencies as published in Annexure A of the Local Government: Municipal Staff Regulations promulgated in Government Gazette 45181 of 20 September 2021

 VIP Protection and Risk Management
 Day to day route planning
 Occupational Health & Safety Management
 Identify suspicious behavior or unauthorized people
 Prevent potential threats of disruption
 Stay constantly alert to react to threatening situations
 Check out and secure premises before Executive Mayor enters
 
 
BASIC ANNUAL SALARY: R 383 927.00 (Post level 08) plus normal company benefits
