ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: SUPPLY CHAIN (PERMANENT)
Salary: R 444 036.00 per annum. SR9
(Ref no. GSC34/2024), Head Office: Supply Chain Management
Minimum requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Supply Chain or Logistic or Public Management or Finance Management, Plus three years’ experience in Supply chain Management or Assets Management Environment at supervisory level.
Knowledge: Knowledge of assets disposal procedure Knowledge and understating of legislative framework governing the Public Services Knowledge of Assets Management Knowledge of Supply Chain Policies Knowledge of Department of Higher Education mandate.
Competencies: Administrative Planning and Organizing Financial Management Report Writing Communication and Interpersonal Problem Solving Computer literacy Analytical Client Oriented Project Management Team Leadership People Management Presentation Skills A valid driver’s licence.
Duties: Develop, review, implement and monitor SCM policies in line with relevant legislation Oversee all procurements of good and services and oversee the administration of demand and acquisition Manage preparation of logistics for the Specifications, Evaluation and Adjudication committees Serve as a guide to the Specifications, Evaluation and Adjudication Committee Ensure that adjudication is monitored and aligned with the preferential procurement strategy Establish the bid specification, bid evaluation, bid adjudication committee and oversee the proper functioning of the committee Supervision and performance management of the procurement section Execute duties as and when delegated by the CFO Ability to report on a weekly, monthly to the CFO and preparation of quarterly reports to the Council and subcommittees Undertake performance management development of relevant staff members.

Minimum requirements: Grade 10, Plus one year experience in cleaning service environment.
Knowledge: Knowledge of repetitive tasks Knowledge of facilities policies Knowledge of relevant legislation, prescripts, policies and procedures Knowledge of hygiene Storage requirement Basic maintenance skills Ability to work under pressure.
Duties: Maintain premises and surroundings, Clean premises, surroundings and empty dirt bins Maintain the garden, Watering the garden, Prune and trim flowers and trees, Mow the grass, Remove weeds and garden refuse , Apply insecticides and cultivate the soil for trees and flowers Maintain gardening equipment and tools Detect and report malfunctioning of gardening equipment and tools Repair minor defects of gardening equipment and tools Wash college vehicles Loading, off-loading and movement of goods, stock and assets.
LECTURER (PERMANENT)
Salary: R 256 395.00 per annum.PL1

Minimum requirements: An appropriate recognized Degree or National Diploma (NQF Level 6), backed by professional qualification in Education Equivalent to REQV 13 Be able to teach Marketing, Advertising and Promotion Marketing Communication and Wholesale and Retailer (NC)V Level 2-4 Computer literacySACE registration A valid driver’s licence may be an advantage
Duties: Assist with the recruitment of students and manage their induction, attendance records, performance assessment and determination of training needs, discipline and placement Lecture specified subjects on the level required Ensure quality education and adherence to College and subject policies Liaise with the students, parents and employers
