IT TECHNICIAN (CONTRACT)
Salary: R 257 508.00 p.a. benefits excluded

Minimum requirements: Grade 12, plus a certificate in Information Technology, plus three years relevant experience in the IT helpdesk environment and a valid driver’s licence Knowledge and understanding of current trends and developments in IT Server administration knowledge Familiar with appropriate technology standards and rules Ability to work independently and in a team environment Basic maintenance and repair skills of computers Good initiative and deadline driven Ability to organize workloads and prioritise Adaptability to working conditions Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills Thoroughness, honesty, integrity and the willingness to work hard, coupled with work pride Appropriate communication skills Sound interpersonal qualities.


Duties: Provide IT support to all sites Manage the networking within the College Manage information data and do regular back-ups Deal with connectivity matters Ensure optimum and responsible usage of IT services Ensure that business management system is functional, effective and efficient Maintain software and hardware systems Conduct trouble-shooting Manage internet and e-mail services of the College in relation to College IT policy Ensure access to e-mail and internet to staff and students Ensure that regular updates are done on the servers and other related duties.

INTERNAL AUDIT CLERK (CONTRACT)
Salary: R 173 703.00 p.a. benefits excluded
(Ref no. GSC 42/2020), Central Office
 
Requirements: Grade 12, Plus Qualification in Internal Auditor or any relevant qualification. One year relevant experience. Being a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) will be an advantage.
 
Competencies: Report writing skills Self-management willing to work long hour’s Good computer user knowledge and experience is essential Ability to work under pressure Meet tight deadlines.
 
Duties:  Facilitate the identification and evaluation of risk  Coordinate risk management activities  Preparing process flow and system description  Evaluating adequacy and effectiveness of controls and governance processes  Preparing working papers and audit findings  Any other internal audit administrative duties.
