ACTING DATA OFFICER
Salary: R 257 508.00 p.a. benefits excluded

Minimum requirements:  Grade 12 plus N6 Certificate in Management Assistant/Business Management plus three years working experience in Coltech system or data management Computer literacy Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional attitude Sound knowledge to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions while providing excellent phone and customer service skills Methodical with excellent attention to details Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks quickly and accurate Ability to remain calm in pressured situations Ability to work sensitively with confidential information including details of applicants health, character and convictions A valid driver’s license.

 
Duties:  Administer student registrations with DHET, resulting and certification of students Management of Coltech student database including the electronic submission of registrations and marks, creating new time periods, class fees, etc. Ensure adherence to the quality assurance of student registrations on COLTECH  Assist student support to quality assure NC(V) and NATED qualifications for graduation  Deal with the informal/formal exchange of data and statistics Do validation runs on all data to be submitted to DHET Conduct enrolment verification and marks.

ACTING EDUCATION SPECIALIST
Salary: R 328 953.00 – R 772 176.00 p.a. benefits excluded
(Ref no. GSC 76/2019), Sibanesetfu Campus: Maths and Maths Literacy
 
Minimum requirements: An appropriate recognised Bachelor’s degree or National diploma, backed by a professional qualification in Education equivalent to REQV 13 Three years NC(V) teaching experience at TVET college in the relevant subject field Able to teach English Maths and Maths Literacy NC(V) Level 2 - 4 Sound communication skills Computer literacy SACE registration A valid driver’s licence.
 
Duties: Assist student with the choice of appropriate career as well as with study methods Give support to students in developing critical job-hunting skills Assist the Head of Division with day–to-day management duties Give professional guidance and support to lecturers Oversee assessment and moderation Assist with the lecturing duties as required.
