IT TECHNICIAN (CONTRACT)
Salary: R 257 508.00 p.a. benefits excluded

Minimum requirements: An appropriate recognised national certificate qualification in Information Technology plus three years appropriate experience in the IT helpdesk environment Knowledge and understanding of current trends and developments in IT Server administration knowledge Familiar with appropriate technology standards and rules Ability to work independently and in a team environment Basic maintenance and repair skills of computers Good initiative and deadline driven Ability to organize workloads and prioritise Adaptability to working conditions Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills Thoroughness, honesty, integrity and the willingness to work hard, coupled with work pride Appropriate communication skills Sound interpersonal qualities A valid driver’s licence A+ and N+ is compulsory.
Duties: Provide IT support to all sites Manage the networking within the College Manage information data and do regular back-ups Deal with connectivity matters Ensure optimum and responsible usage of IT services Ensure that business management system is functional, effective and efficient Maintain software and hardware systems Conduct trouble-shooting Manage internet and e-mail services of the College in relation to College IT policy Ensure access to e-mail and internet to staff and students Ensure that regular updates are done on the servers and other related duties.

FACILITATOR (CONTRACT)
Salary: R 242 079.00 p.a. Inclusive
(Ref no. GSC 20/2020), Skills Academy: PLP Mathematics
Minimum requirements: An appropriate recognized Degree, National Diploma or equivalent to REQV 13 (Teaching Qualification) Be able to teach Mathematics and Science Teaching experience may be an advantage Knowledge of TVET Sector Qualified as an assessor/ moderator may be an advantage Computer Literacy. A valid driver’s licence Code 8 May be an advantage.
Duties: Assist with the registration of students and student induction procedure Planning of classroom work and prepare deliver facilitation to leaners as per work plan Manager own class attendance records, assessments, test and year marks and all other related duties Maintained discipline among student prepare and manage POE’s and POA’s Report on monthly basis to the senior lecturer on the prescribed format liaise with students and parents.

LECTURER (CONTRACT)
Salary: R 211 731.00 – R 441 369.00 p.a. benefits excluded
(Ref no.GSC21/2020), Standerton Campus: Mechanical Lecturer Report 191 (N1 - N3) and/or NCV Engineering and Related Design (L2 – L4)
Minimum requirements: An appropriate recognized Degree or National Diploma, backed by professional qualification in Education equivalent to REQV 13 Be able to teach Mechanical (N1- N3) and/or NCV ERD (L2 – L4) subjectsComputer literacy SACE registration A valid driver’s licence may be an advantage.
Duties: Assist with the recruitment of students and manage their induction, attendance records, performance assessment and determination of training needs, discipline and placement Lecture specified subjects on the level required Ensure quality education and adherence to College and subject policies Liaise with the students, parents and employers.
