SENIOR ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN: WATER & SANITATION
SALARY SCALE: R 501 605.00 — R651 082.00 per annum Excl. benefits

Minimum Requirements
• National Diploma in Civil Engineering PLUS Six (6) years relevant experience / BSc or BTech Civil Engineering PLUS five years relevant experience in construction in a municipal environment.
• Registered or in the process of being registered as candidate with the Engineering Council of South Africa (proof must be supplied with CV)
• Project management, contract management and financial management skills will serve as a strong recommendation
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Presentation and facilitation skills
• Computer literate
• Valid Code 08 Driver's License
MANAGER — QUANTITY SUFIVEYINQ
(CONTRACTUAL FOR 4 YEARS)
TASK GRADE: TK16
SALARY SCALE: R 733 062.00 — R 951 557.00 per annum Excl. benefits

Requirements: B.Sc (QS) University Degree OR B Tech Degree (NOF Level 7 as recognized by SAQA) in Quantity Surveying. Registration with the SA Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession or Built Environment will be an added advantage. Minimum of 5 years of Quantity Surveying OR Civil Engineering Experience. Local Government experience will be an added advantage
QUANTITY SURVEYING TECHNICIAN
(CONTRACTUAL FOR 4 YEARS)
TASK GRADE: TK13
SALARY SCALE: R 501 605.00 — R 651 082.00 per annum Excl. benefits

Requirements: National Diploma (NOF Level 6 as recognized by SAGA) in Quantity Surveying/Architecture/Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering/ Mechanical and Electrical Engineering). Registration with SA Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession or Built Environment will be an added advantage. Minimum of 3 years Quantity Surveying experience (Architecture, Mechanical, Civil, Structural and Electrical) Local Government experience will be an added Advantage
SENIOR LABORATORY TECHNICIAN: MICROBIOLOGY
TASK GRADE: TK11
SALARY SCALE: R 377 353 — R 489 848 PER ANNUM Excl. benefits

Minimum Requirements: National Senior Certificate or equivalent. National Diploma in Microbiology/Biotechnology (or equivalent) with Microbiology as a major subject. Must have three (3+) years' experience in a microbiology water laboratory, with a minimum of two (2) years' experience in an accredited (ISO/IEC 17025) microbiology laboratory and one (1) year of proven supervisory experience. Valid Code B (08) driver's license. SANAS Technical signatory experience will have an added advantage.

TOTAL SALARY PACKAGE: As per the approved Salary scale

DURATION: Fixed Term Linked to the Political Office
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years relevant working experience and
• Must be a South African citizen.
• A valid driver's license;
• Ability to write and read;
• Ability to interact with SAPS and Security Services in respect of high profiled functions;
• Ability to work under pressure and beyond working hours
• 12 month in VIP protection
As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pm-employment screening, security vetting and psychometric assessment
