SALARY : R1 057 326 per annum, (all-inclusive Package) consists of 70% basic salary and 30% flexible portion that may be structured in terms of the applicable rules.
CENTRE : Johannesburg
REQUIREMENTS : A three-year tertiary qualification (NQF level 7) as recognised by SAQA in Supply Chain Management or relevant qualification. 5 – 10 years’ experience at Middle/Senior Management level in Supply Chain Management and Asset Management environment in the Public Sector. Knowledge and understanding of legislative, policy and institutional framework governing Supply Chain Management in the Public Service. Knowledge and understanding of departmental Supply Chain Management policies, procedures and processes. Knowledge of the department’s strategic priorities and service delivery model.
DUTIES : To coordinate the design and implementation of sound, effective, efficient and transparent Supply Chain Management Systems in the Department. Oversee Demand Management Functions. Oversee Tender and Contract Management Functions. Oversee the Management of Procurement Functions. Oversee Asset Management Functions. Oversee Inventory Management Functions. Management of Directorate by Managing the directorates Budget and Expenditure, Manage the directorates Performance and Manage Staff Performance, Development, Leave and Discipline.
