Foodservice Supervisor

Requirements
Grade 12 with minimum of 3 years experience, or Grade 10 with minimum of 5 years experience in a large scale Food Service Environment, preferably a hospital/clinical environment. An appropriate qualification in food services supervision will be added advantage. Good verbal and written communication skills. Basic numeric and computer skills. Must have ability to work under pressure. Must have leadership, decision making and good problem solving skills. Knowledge of different diets, food preparations methods and accept lawful additional tasks as per Food Service prescripts will be an advantage.
 
Duties
Supervision of Foodservice Aids. Receive, issue and control stock while assisting with cost control measures. Compile and submit monthly reports. Conduct and arrange training to subordinates as per gap analysis of your team. Ensure hygiene and safety measures are adhered and maintained at all times within the factory. Responsible for usage and safekeeping of equipment used. Reporting of non-conformances and defects within the factory. Responsible for monitoring and evaluation of Food Service Aids. Attend all relevant meetings as scheduled.
