FINANCIAL AND FISCAL COMMISSION (FFC)
The Financial and Fiscal Commission (FFC) exists to provide proactive, expert and independent advice on promoting the Intergovernmental Fiscal Relations System (IGFR), through evidence-based policy analysis to ensure the realisation of our Constitutional values. Its vision is to provide influential advice for an equitable, efficient and sustainable IGFR system.
The FFC is seeking a high calibre individual that will be a change agent that will share and support the newpath and transformation goals of the organisation. The main focus of this role would be leading theHR, Facilities and ICT Team which will include full financial responsibilities.
Head: Corporate Services
Remuneration: R1 100 000-R1 400 000 per annum (all-inclusive package)
Key responsibilities: •Human Resources, including: * Employment Equity * Continuous learning and development * Organisational Design* Reward and recognition strategies (remuneration structuring) * Recruitment and Retention strategies * Performance Management * Conflict management • Facilities and maintenance of the leased FFC buildings (in Gauteng and a smaller office in Cape Town) and all related services •Security and Health and Safety management • Outsourced Information, Communication and Technology management, including: * ICT strategy * Business solutions * IT infrastructure and support * Information management • Manage delivery against all outsourced contracts related to the above functions and assist with the procurement process relating to these functions.
Requirements: • A 3- or 4-year degree in the Human Resources discipline or related field, with experience in team project work. A furtherqualification in Management will be an advantage• Extensive working knowledge of SA Labour Law • A minimum of 5 years' experience as asenior manager within all or some of the above functions.
