VACANCY: EXECUTIVE MANAGER — CORPORATE SERVICES (HEAD OFFICE)
5 Year Fixed Term Performance – Based
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:To lead and manage the design and delivery of corporate services to the overall organisation including managing facilities, developing and managing the HR strategy and plan, managing Marketing and Communications including acting as the spokesperson for the organisation, as well as leading and managing all corporate legal matters for the organisation.
REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors degree in Business Administration, BTech or equivalent (post graduate qualification will be an added advantage) • A minimum of 5 - 8 years management experience at strategic level within a corporate services function • Corporate governance of public entities and a working knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations • Extensive experience in corporate services and knowledge of BCEA, LRA, EEA and government social objectives • Experience in preparing and implementing organisational support policies, procedures and processes • Knowledge and understanding of legislation applicable to EAAB, Government policies and procedures • Enterprise risk management with financial acumen • Sound understanding of project management methodologies; methods; and systems • Good strategic leadership and communication skills • Governance, legal and people management • Awareness of external environment
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Strategic and operational management by understanding the vision, identifying key strategic inputs and providing inputs to the strategic plan annually • Facilities management by managing delivery of facilities based support services by tracking performance against agreed standards, identifying risks and implementing corrective action as required • Strategic planning and performance reporting by managing the preparation and submission of the strategic plan, APP and operational plans • HR management by supporting good HR practices, engaging with the leadership team, reviewing requirements, providing legal and technical advice and managing the implementation of corrective action as required • Governance by managing policy development, identifying policy gaps, managing policy implementation and compliance • Legal management by reviewing all contracts and commitments, assessing all claims and litigation and providing legal advice as required
