Position Summary: In-house Corporate Travel Coordinator will arrange business travel services for employees, identifying the most cost-effective and efficient travel arrangements. The incumbent must ensure that ECSA’s travel policy is strictly adhered to at all times.
Key Performances Areas:
- Serve as a general resource and point of contact for travel-related issues.
- Researches and compares available travel and hotel accommodations to identify the best available option for each travel need.
- Negotiate rates, travel deals, and contracts with travel service providers.
- Facilitate the quoting and booking of all travel arrangements, travel appointments where required, special reservations, and special requests, for complex itineraries.
- Build and maintain good working relationships and rapport with travel service providers.
- Completing daily travel tasks, such as booking tickets and managing credit card operations.
- Tracking and reconciling travel expenses.
- Providing guidance to employees on travel documents, insurance, travel laws, cancellation policies, related protocols e.g., insurance, and general advice.
- Prepares travel itineraries and distributes travel arrangements and schedules to all appropriate staff.
- When travel arrangements are within approved travel reasons and budget limits, makes all arrangements and reservations as requested e.g., book tickets, reserve accommodation, organise rental transportation.
- Obtains approval from leadership for travel requests and expenses that exceed established limits.
- Advises travellers of and assists with any need for specialised travel documents such as visas or passports.
- Processes reimbursements for travel expenses.
- Assist with after-hour duty, including nights and weekends.
- Deal with complaints, queries, and invoices relating to travel services on behalf of ECSA.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in tourism, travel, hospitality, or a similar field.
- 3-5 years GDS experience with strong command of Galileo GDS or related system Previous 5 years training and experience with a strong command of a Global Distribution System (GDS) e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport, Galileo, or similar travel software.
- Working knowledge of MS-Office, accounting packages (Sage/Pastel).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid interpersonal skills.
- Strong working knowledge of the travel industry.
- Excellent knowledge of travel management processes.
- Excellent organisational skills, impeccable attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.

Key Performances Areas:
- Perform analysis, manipulation and interpretation of HR data, extract HR reports and Dashboards;
- Update, maintain and audit the HRIS database;
- Assist with new employee onboarding, prepare presentations, and conduct orientation sessions;
- Provide services as identified in the HR service offerings/service level agreement value chain;
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the Business Unit in the delivery of HR service offerings;
- Review and update HR forms and templates in line with document control and organisational branding standards;
- Prepare general HR metrics and statistical and interpretive reports;
- Conduct recruitment verification screening assessments;
- Coordinate HR meetings and Functions;
- Provide administrative support in relation to HR projects; and
- Provide secretarial services in HR meetings.
Key Attributes Required:
- Degree/National Diploma in Human Resources Development/Industrial Psychology (NQF Level 7);
- Three (3) years working experience with two years in HR administration;
- Payroll and SAGE 300 People experience are desirable;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products;
- In-dept experience of Data Capturing;
- Knowledge of HR reporting;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI will be advantageous;
- Strong customer service orientation;
- Written and verbal communication skills, including report writing;
- Understanding and application of Human Resources Best Practices and South African Labour Laws.

Position Summary: The Receptionist position has become available. The successful candidate will report to the Customer Relations Analyst and will be responsible for the provision of a professional customer service to ECSA members, applicants and all ECSA visitors and staff.
Key Performance Areas:
- Operating of the switchboard, including answering calls, taking messages and general reception;
- Greeting/attending to applicants/ visitors in a professional manner;
- Ensuring that all visitors sign the visitors register;
- Ensuring that all visitors are assisted by relevant personnel within ECSA;
- Manage general and services inquiries;
- Constantly keep up to date with changes on the ECSA website;
- Maintaining a high level of general Customer Service;
- Receive and acknowledge walk-in applications;
- Maintain and update CRM daily;
- General office assistance;
- Keeping reception area neat and tidy;
- Any further duties as requested from time to time and maybe required to work outside normal working hours.
Key Attributes Required:
- Matric;
- Reception, Customer Service and/or Administration Certificate (NQF level 5) or equivalent;
- 1 year working experience as a receptionist;
- Knowledge of Call Centre operations;
- Basics knowledge of quality management systems would be advantageous;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power-Point and Outlook;
