The ETDP SETA seeks to temporarily appoint two suitably qualified Project Administrators in the Gauteng Provincial office who possess the requisite skills and qualifications. The successful candidates will be based in the ETDP SETA Office in Johannesburg and will report to the Provincial Manager.
PROJECT ADMINISTRATORS - TWO POSITIONS
Duration: Twenty-four (24) months contract
Salary: R430 335 per annum (Total Cost to Company)

Purpose of the job: To provide project administration support to the team, manage the project schedules, prepare action plans, gather necessary resources, and ensure the project of the ETDP SETA projects are completed within the set timelines and to the required quality standards.
Qualifications, Experience and Personal Attributes Required
- A National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Business Administration or Office Administration or Public Administration and Management or Project Management or Office Management and Technology.
- A relevant Bachelor’s Degree would be an advantage.
- A minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience in a project management environment in the ETD sector or public entities.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel, e-mail, internet, PowerPoint) with knowledge and experience in databases and learner data management systems.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to liaise with team members and stakeholders to ensure the project is completed on time and within the budget. • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and proficiency with project management tools.
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues.
- Attention to detail to monitor and control project variables.
- Ability to cope with pressure and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team, with a willingness to put in extra effort and time when the team is under pressure.
- An ability to work with data and perform the necessary reconciliations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Project team in all administration functions and processes.
- Facilitate the development of project plans and manage them from inception to completion.
- Contribute to project monitoring, evaluation, and quality improvement systems within the project, collating statistical information about participants/beneficiaries.
- Prepare, organize, and distribute all necessary project materials.
- Attend project meetings and provide Secretariat services.
- Maintain and update budgets as the project progresses.
- Communicate pertinent information with the project team.
- Collect and maintain project-related documentation as activities take place, including participant files and forms, attendance records and other records relating to the project.
- Prepare induction packs and ensure that induction workshops are conducted prior to the commencement of the project.
- Assist and support the Project Team in the preparation of reports and managing the Service Level Agreement, and learner stipends.
- Provide input data relating to beneficiaries into the management information system, using spreadsheets/databases, ensuring that information is kept secure, confidential, up-to-date and accessible by the team.
- Foster positive and productive stakeholder relations.
- Perform other duties as delegated by the Provincial Manager.
