OUTREACH MANAGER: N2 WILD COAST BIODIVERSITY OFFSET PROJECT
Duration : 3 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT

Purpose
Reporting to the Senior Manager Project Management: N2 Wild Coast Biodiversity Offset Project, the Outreach Manager will support ECPTA by ensuring effective engagement with N2 offset project stakeholders to achieve rehabilitation, long-term conservation, and socio-economic beneficiation in priority areas in the Wild Coast.
Requirements
A three-year tertiary qualification in Conservation Management, Tourism, Education or Social Sciences plus 5 years’ experience in conservation or community development projects.
Code EB motor vehicle license - 4X4 experience will be an added advantage.
Key Performance Areas
Stakeholder engagement: Manage the Outreach Facilitators and coordinate the N2 Offset outreach programme.
Community-based biodiversity conservation: Negotiate with stakeholders to participate in the development and implementation of rehabilitation and biodiversity conservation plans and projects.
Institutional support: Facilitate negotiation, drafting and signing of Agreements.
People Management: Monitor adherence to ECPTA policies and procedures and manage subordinates by assigning work/duties and assessing progress and performance.
Financial management and budget planning: Manage allocated budget and ensure work plan is in line with budget.
In line with the Employment Equity Policy of the Eastern Cape Parks & Tourism Agency, preference will be given to suitable candidates from the designated groups. (Where applicable).

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: CORPORATE SERVICES
Duration : 5 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT
Centre : Head Office (East London)
Band : E - Lower
Purpose
To provide strategic leadership and management in respect of the Human Capital Management and Development, IMCT/Knowledge Management, and Head Office Facilities Management functions within the ECPTA.
Requirements
- Minimum three-year tertiary qualification with a post graduate qualification in Human Capital Management.
- A minimum of 10 (ten) years relevant experience of which 5 (five) years at senior/executive management, in a Corporate Services environment.
Key Performance Areas
Human Capital Management - Manage Employee Relations, Employee Wellness, Occupational Health & Safety, Benefits, Reward, Recruitment, Human Capital Administration, Organisational Development and Human Capital Development functions.
IMCT Management - Manage ECPTA IMCT function.
Facilities Management - Manage Head Office facilities, including Security, Maintenance & Cleaning functions.
Stakeholder management – for example Unions, CATHSETA.
People Management.
Financial Management.
