SENIOR MANAGER: RISK AND COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT 
DIVISION : Financial Management 
REPORTS TO : Chief Financial Officer 
GRADE : 15 
SALARY NOTCH : R1 141 148.00 per annum 
SALARY SCALE : R1 141 148.00 – R1 379 159.00 per annum 
TOTAL PACKAGE R1 892 134.00 per annum - inclusive of employer’s Medical Aid contribution a maximum of R42 306.00 per annum, housing allowance a maximum of R69 969.00 per annum, 13th cheque, car allowance of R292 564.00 and 22% Employer’s contribution to the Provident Fund. 
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Auditing or Internal Auditing or Financial Accounting or equivalent qualification in a related field. 
  • A Postgraduate Degree (NQF 8) in Auditing or Internal Auditing or Financial Accounting or equivalent qualification in related field will be an added advantage. 
  • Five (05) years’ experience in Risk and Compliance Management environment. 
  • Three (03) years at middle management level.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Packages – (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams). 
  • Knowledge of Auditing Practice.

  • Knowledge of Policies and Procedures. 
  • Financial Management Skills. 
  • Knowledge of FMPPLA. 
 
KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS: 
  • Developing and maintaining an enterprise wide risk management strategy, plans and policies for the Legislature. 
  • Facilitate development of fraud prevention strategy and plans; and oversee implementation thereof. 
  • Monitor implementation of risk and fraud plans; and report to Audit Committee and other relevant stakeholders. 
  • As Audit Controller, ensure an effective process to deal with internal and external audit recommendations. 
  • Provide secretariat services to the Audit Committee. 
  • Develop and monitor ethics management plan. 
  • Ensure management of financial and human resources.

DIVISION : Corporate Services 
REPORTS TO : General Manager: Information Technology and Technical Services (ITTS)
GRADE : 15 
SALARY NOTCH : R1 141 148.00 per annum 
SALARY SCALE : R1 141 148.00 – R1 379 159.00 per annum

  • Experience in implementation and management of SAGE 200 and SAGE 300 will be added advantage.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages – Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Teams, PowerPoint O365 and Azure cloud platforms. 
  • Knowledge of ITIL, COBIT and ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 31000, ISO/IEC 42001 industry standards. 
  • Experience in IT Audit and risk management, and applicable standards. 
  • Experience in ERP implementation and operations (SAGE 200 and SAGE300). 
  • Extensive Project management experience in an IT environment and IT infrastructural projects. 
  • Extensive experience in information systems application, development and implementation thereof. 
  • Knowledge of management of IT servers including Cloud computing services and information security. 
  • Management and monitoring of IT contracts and Service Level Agreements with IT service providers. 
  • Knowledge of multiple IT business solutions including Audio Visual, and automation of Chamber, Committee rooms/ boardrooms. 
  • Ability to manage IT networks and connectivity including Wi-Fi, VOIP and VPNs. 
  • Business Report writing skills. 
  • Professional communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Performance management and reviews of the employees, management of personal development plans, and rewards; and appraisal. 
 
KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS: 
  • Develop and implement ICT Strategic Plan and ensure alignment thereof with Legislature objectives. 
  • Implement IT Helpdesk solution. 
  • Training of IT Staff. 
  • Economical and efficient provisioning of ICT equipment and ICT services.
