ENTERPRISE FINANCE CONSULTANT: ALIWAL NORTH 
PERMANENT CONTRACT: GRADE 13 (TOTAL COST TO COMPANY) 
 
The incumbent shall be responsible for the following: 
  • To implement the provision of enterprise finance products and services comprising of short, medium and long-term loans, risk capital, micro lending, and third-party funding towards attainment of growth and development priorities of the Eastern Cape Province. 
  • To manage the identification, assessment of client needs and provides suitable enterprise finance products or solutions to address the needs of the business. 
  • To create linkages with business development support partners internally and externally. Initiate and strengthen key partnerships with other role players within the funding environment. 
  • To support processing loan applications, making recommendations to credit committee, feedback to clients, preparing disbursements, monitoring, and reporting. 
  • To collaborate with teams dealing with highly sensitive client information and exercise due care in providing satisfactory services to clients. 
  • The incumbent will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with new and existing clients within the region for aftercare support. 
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 
  • National Diploma in Business Management / Economics/ Finance/Accounting. 
  • A minimum of three (3) years working experience of which at least year (2) years should be in enterprise finance, enterprise development or economic development.

PROJECT MANAGER: INVESTMENT FACILITATION AND SPECIAL PROJECTS 
PERMANENT POSITION: GRADE 15 (TOTAL COST TO COMPANY) 
 
The incumbent shall be responsible for the Stakeholder Investment coordination and management of the Investment Management, Trade and Investment Promotion Portfolio (IMTIP) of the ECDC. The role will include but not be limited to, leading, directing, managing and monitoring strategic and mission critical stakeholder engagement for IMTIP, related to all Provincial Investment Coordination structures and Special Projects. The incumbent may be required to represent the ECDC in key trade and investment fora and platforms, develop and oversee local and international trade and investment platforms, stakeholder structures, communications, conferences, missions, and events in support of IMTIP's trade and investment objectives. The incumbent will be required to assess stakeholder management risks and implement mitigation measures as well as to assume responsibility for the design and management of investment coordination related special projects. In collaboration with the Communications and Marketing unit, the candidate shall be expected to develop media, marketing and communication content relating to the IMTIP portfolio. 
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 
  • Relevant National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Commerce, Trade and Investment, or Development Studies. 
  • Minimum of five (5) years relevant working experience of which three (3) years should be in trade and/or investment or development management. 
  • Exceptional capabilities to communicate and engage with stakeholders at a high level and strong secretariat competencies.
