135 INTERNS REQUIRED FOR HEAD OFFICE (KING WILLIAMS TOWN), GOVERNMENT FLEET MANAGEMENT SERVICES, ALFRED NZO, AMATHOLE, JOE GQABI, CHRIS HANI, OR TAMBO AND SARAH BAARTMAN DISTRICTS
STIPEND – DETERMINED BY THE QUALIFICATION (TABLE A OF DPSA DIRECTIVE)
DURATION - 24 MONTHS
This advertisement is issued to all unemployed graduates aged of 35 or less including persons with disabilities in the EC Province for consideration for the internship programme. Applicants must possess a 3-year qualification (Degree or National Diploma) from an accredited tertiary institution. Applicants who have already participated in a Government Internships Programme will not be considered and if it is found that this was the case after verification, they will be withdrawn from the Programme.
Minimum Requirements: A 3-year degree/national diploma with no/ minimal/ irrelevant work experience. Candidates must be less than 35 years of age and be residents of the Eastern Cape Province, submit a fully completed Z83 form obtainable from all government departments/DPSA website, an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) not more than 3 pages, certified copy of RSA Identity Document, certified copy of certificate(s) together with transcripts copies and current (less than 3 months) legitimate proof of residence.

Candidates who do not comply with the above will be disqualified. No faxed and emailed CVs will be considered. Successful candidates will be expected to sign a 24 months internship contract. Should you not hear from the Department within two months of the closing date, please accept that you have not been selected.

Should you be in possession of a foreign qualification, it must be accompanied by an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA). Suitable candidates will be subjected to a personnel suitability check (criminal record check, citizenship verification, financial/asset record check, qualification/study verification and previous employment verification). Successful candidates will be appointed on a probation period of twelve (12) months. The Department reserves the right not to make appointment(s) to the advertised post(s). The selection panel will recommend candidates to attend a generic Managerial competency assessment in compliance with the DPSA Directive on the implementation of competency based assessment.
