CHIEF DIRECTOR: IMMOVABLE ASSET MANAGEMENT

KPA’s: Manage Service Level Agreement between Public Works & Infrastructure and Client Departments. Manage all programmes pertaining to the roll-out of new buildings service delivery infrastructure. Lead the Infrastructure Delivery Implementation Programme. Manage planning, demand, implementation, quality control, monitoring and evaluation of the provincial building infrastructure programmes of the relevant client departments. The incumbent will also provide professional and technical support to provincial departments regarding the building infrastructure and immovable asset management. Coordinate regular inspections of government properties under the allocated portfolio. Formulate strategic policies, which will enable the Department to successfully fulfil its role in delivering services to the community/clients. Determine the most effective work procedures to achieve organizational goals. The post carries the management responsibility that includes financial and human resources of the entire component. Promote good corporate governance (employee performance, key government focus areas, and organizational performance)
DIRECTOR: MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING

KPA’s: Manage financial /budget planning services (effective of budget cycle and milestones as well as the management of conducting of economic analysis and research). Ensure value for money in the implementation of the approved budgets through expenditure management control. Ensure all Program Managers are exposed to and familiar with Provincial Treasury budget guidelines. Develop and implement financial planning procedures and budgeting processes to ensure accountability and sound financial management. Initiate appropriate accounting policies including Asset and Fleet Management policies that are in line with applicable legislation. Manage budget management and monitoring services Co-ordination, consolidation and management of budget, Manage preparation of budget submission for MTEC hearings as well as the management of resource allocations and adjustment of budgets. KPA’s: Execute policy or line function tasks of the office as required. Assist the Head of Department in monitoring and implementing management decisions taken in internal and external for a. Source information and compile comprehensive documents for the HOD with regard to issues emanating from meetings with stakeholders. Consolidate and analyse submissions/reports, make notes and recommendations to present to the HOD. Draft responses for submission to internal and external stakeholders. Co-ordinate, follow up and compile reports of a transverse nature for the HOD and advise/ sensitize the HOD for compliance. Compile presentations and speeches for the HOD. Manage liaison between the office of the HOD, internal and external stakeholders. Liaise with stakeholders to ensure integration of programmes. Scrutinize documentation to determine actions/information/documents required. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT
