COVID 19 VACCINATION PROGRAMME 
 
The Eastern Cape Department of Health is providing opportunities for Health Professionals to assist in the continuous rollout of vaccination drive in the province. The posts are on a contractual basis and are under through the District Health Programmes Grant for a period of 12 months (1st of April 2022 – 31st of March 2023)

Be arranged in such a way that social distancing can be maintained in both waiting areas and at vaccination stations, Vaccination sites must establish and implement a mechanism of setting up appointments to prevent crowding, Designate separate Entry and Exit points if possible. Maintain a professional and ethical practice as well as an enabling environment for ethical practice. Protect and advocate the rights of patients regarding health care. Compliance and adherence to the relevant acts/prescripts applicable within the nursing environment. Apply the principles of nursing care in service rendering, for the maintenance of professional excellence. Implement nursing care management activities according to the Standards of Practice and Scope of Practice and act upon breaching of laws relating to nursing practice and professional code of conduct and practice standards.
