To maintain a provincial comprehensive information management system (IMS) and an integrated emergency communication network (ECN) which establishes communication links with all disaster risk management role players and complies with national requirements. To monitor and evaluate compliance and implementation of disaster management legislation and related policies in the province. Monitor and oversee the development and implementation of a fire risk assessment and prevention and mitigation programs for the province.
