​Durban ICC SOC (Ltd) is the managing company for the Inkosi Albert Luthuli ICC Complex, which includes the International Convention Centre Durban (ICC), the ICC Exhibition Centre and the ICC Arena. SALES REPRESENTATIVE (TG 12) MIN R36 363.63– MAX R60 255.39 PER MONTH 
TWELVE (12) MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT 
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL 
 
The organisation is calling for suitable candidates to apply for the position of a Sales Representative. 
The Sales Representative will be responsible for selling and promoting Inkosi Albert Luthuli ICC Complex to Association Conferences/ Events and meeting all client needs while planning and controlling processes of various types of enquiries from existing or potential clients to host events at the Durban ICC Complex. 
 
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES 
Minimum Qualifications 
 National Diploma in Marketing/ Project Management/ Business Administration 
 Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the related field 
 Successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre- employment medical examination

KEY PERFORMANCE / MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THIS ROLE 
 Generate new business by conducting sales calls with key association accounts and repeat clients to increase sales volumes; 
 Prepare bid proposals and contracts indicating scope, costs and liability and forward the same to the client for consideration; 
 Meet and establish client needs and requirements and or respond to enquiries/requests and provide feedback; 
 Prepare and follow- up on international and national bids to ensure that sales targets and objectives are met; 
 Expedite confirmation of bid proposals and contracts to facilitate closure of sale; 
 Conduct site tours with potential clients, stakeholders, industry partners and government departments to promote the Durban ICC; 
 Arrange meetings with new clients with a view of converting the events to a confirmed business for the Durban ICC; 
 Prepare reports with statistical data outlining the status of proposals and or enquiries received from prospective clients; 
 Maintain an updated database inclusive of follow ups and feedback from clients;
 Research and investigate sales trends within the hospitality industry and develop sales strategies to retain existing and prospective clients; 
 Contribute to creating a positive client experience with the Centre in alignment with the brand attributes of the organisation.

CCTV CONTROLLER (TG06) 
MIN: R162 623.37 – MAX R270 933.87 PER ANNUM (TOTAL COST TO COMPANY) 
(INTERNAL & EXTERNAL) 
The organisation is calling for suitable candidates to apply for the position of CCTV Controller. 
The CCTV Controller will be responsible for continuity of service within the CCTV control room, respond to requests for footage and store them accordingly, proactively look for and report any security, health and safety incidents that may take place within the Durban ICC and or DEC. 
The incumbent will report to the Security Risk Manager or nominated representative.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES 
 
Minimum Qualifications 
 Matric (Grade 12) 
 CCTV Certificate 
 Minimum of three (03) years’ proven experience in a CCTV operation 
 Experience within the Hospitality related industry will be an advantage

KEY PERFORMANCE / MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THIS ROLE 
 The incumbent monitor compliance in terms of Health and Safety regulations during build up, live events and breakdown at the Durban ICC as well as the Durban Exhibition Centre 
 Monitor the Durban ICC and Durban Exhibition Centre for the security related incidents, suspicious people’s behavior and identify risks 
 Report incidents surrounding Health and Safety and Security. 
 Provide general administration by ensuring a neat, orderly and effective CCTV operating system 
 Ensure that security is maintained as well as an incident free environment at all times 
 Ensure physical security of all visitors to the Durban ICC as well as safeguarding of their personal belongings and equipment’s 
 Ensure that all events scheduled for the Durban ICC as well as the DEC are noted on a daily basis 
 Compile comprehensive reports on all non-compliant activities and subsequent action taken 
 Compile comprehensive reports of all incidents witnessed /reported at the Durban ICC and DEC and subsequent action taken 
 Ensure that all cameras are in working order and not tampered with prior to the commencement of the shift 
 Ensure all work is done in accordance with the standard operating procedures
