Durban ICC SOC (Ltd) is the managing company for the Inkosi Albert Luthuli ICC Complex, which includes the International Convention Centre Durban (ICC), the ICC Exhibition Centre and the ICC Arena. The Durban ICC is one of the most advanced conference facilities in the world, having been voted Africa’s Leading Conference Centre by World Travel Awards for 18 years.
SCM COMPLIANCE OFFICER (TG12) PERMANENT
MIN R436 363,52 – MAX R723 064,71 PER ANNUM (INTERNAL & EXTERNAL)
The organisation is calling for suitable candidates to apply for the position of SCM Compliance Officer. The SCM Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Supply Chain Management process of the entity which includes the alignment of procedures, systems and controls. Execution of applications to address the demand/acquisition and disposal management of items as well as the achievement of fair, equitable, transparent and cost-effective procurement practices within the Durban ICC.
The incumbent will report to the Finance Executive.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
Minimum Qualifications
National Diploma in Supply Chain Management
Minimum of 4-5 years working experience in supply chain management.

KEY PERFORMANCE / MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THIS ROLE
Conduct Bid Preparation
Maintain Procedures, Systems and Controls, which includes drafting, implementation and monitoring of the entity’s procurement plan to ensure that all requisition needs are adequately planned and initiated within an acceptable lead time.
Ensure compliance and enhancement of the SCM policy and processes for implementation/awareness/training throughout the entity.
Conducting Demand Analysis
Processing of Acquisition, Appointment and Contractual Agreements
Manage stakeholder Relations
Coordinate document control and reporting
Facilitate Enterprise and Supplier Development
Managing supplier Performance
Reporting on SCM compliance
Processing of asset disposal
Managing Contracts and Lease Agreements
Staff management and development
