JOB PURPOSE:
To ensure and monitor that the required safety regulations as laid down by the Occupational Health and Safety Act and South African National Standards for the wiring of premises is adhered to by all and to perform inspections and test installations at buildings and premises to ensure the safety of the public regarding electrical installations.
 
SELECTION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST:
• Grade 12 (NQF level 4)
• Trade tested Artisan
• Masters Installation Electrician Certificate
 
OTHER REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
• Code B driver’s licence
• First Aid Certificate (obtained within twelve months of appointment)
